These disclosures apply to every Pivlyn estimate, projection, simulation, score, suggestion, explanation, comparison, and other output.
Educational planning software
Pivlyn is self-directed educational software. Pivlyn, LLC is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, tax return preparer, accounting firm, law firm, insurance producer, lender, creditor, credit-repair organization, consumer reporting agency, or fiduciary. Pivlyn does not manage assets, hold money or securities, execute transactions, file returns, sell financial products, or make decisions about a user's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or another benefit.
Pivlyn does not provide individualized investment, tax, accounting, legal, insurance, credit, or other professional advice. An output is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, borrow, refinance, insure, elect a tax treatment, make an estate-planning decision, or take any other action.
Inputs and assumptions
Outputs depend on the information available to Pivlyn, including information you enter, documents you provide, data retrieved from third parties, default assumptions, and methods selected by the Services. You are responsible for checking the completeness and accuracy of inputs. Account data can be delayed, categorized incorrectly, duplicated, omitted, or revised by its source.
Assumptions may include inflation, investment returns and volatility, interest rates, tax rates, contribution limits, spending, income, life expectancy, benefit rules, insurance coverage, and the timing of events. Actual conditions and results will differ, potentially materially.
Projections and simulations
Projections and simulations are hypothetical illustrations, not predictions or guarantees. They do not reflect every market event, fee, tax, transaction cost, liquidity constraint, behavioral response, or personal circumstance. A probability or confidence measure describes results under the stated model and assumptions; it is not the probability that your real-world plan will succeed. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Investment information
Pivlyn does not determine whether an investment or strategy is suitable for you. Market values can rise or fall, and you can lose principal. Illustrations may not include all fees, taxes, spreads, penalties, restrictions, or product terms. Verify information with the relevant institution and consider your objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, time horizon, and full financial circumstances before acting.
Tax information
Tax calculations are estimates based on the information, assumptions, and rules available to the Services. Tax law, agency guidance, forms, thresholds, and interpretations change and may apply differently by jurisdiction or circumstance. Pivlyn does not prepare or file a return, represent you before a taxing authority, determine your legal filing position, or guarantee a tax outcome. Compare outputs with current official forms and instructions and obtain qualified assistance for a filing or material tax decision.
Insurance, estate, and benefits information
Insurance, estate, Social Security, Medicare, employee-benefit, and similar outputs are simplified planning illustrations. Actual eligibility, coverage, premiums, benefits, legal effect, and claim outcomes are controlled by applicable law and the governing plan, policy, contract, or executed instrument. Pivlyn does not create or modify a will, trust, beneficiary designation, insurance contract, or benefits election.
Connected accounts and execution
Connected financial access is designed to be read-only. Pivlyn cannot initiate transfers, trades, withdrawals, or payments from a connected financial institution through the Services. A displayed value does not confirm that funds, credit, coverage, or a transaction are available.
Automated outputs
Automated outputs can misunderstand an instruction, omit context, or produce incorrect information. Review the underlying data and explanation. Do not treat an automated output as a professional opinion, signed document, regulatory filing, valuation, audit, or guarantee.
Your responsibility
You control your decisions and remain responsible for verifying information before acting. For a consequential decision, use current primary documents and qualified professionals who can evaluate your complete circumstances.
