Effective date: August 30, 2026
These Beta Testing Terms supplement the Pivlyn Terms of Service and apply to TestFlight builds and other pre-release Pivlyn features. By installing or using a beta build, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose and access
Beta access is provided to evaluate functionality, reliability, usability, and security and to provide feedback. Access is personal, limited, revocable, and may expire. Pivlyn may change, suspend, or end a beta or reset beta data at any time.
2. Pre-release functionality
Beta features may be incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, or materially changed before release. They may contain errors or lose data. Do not use a beta feature for an emergency, a filing deadline, or as the sole basis for an investment, tax, legal, insurance, borrowing, or other consequential decision.
3. Test information
Use synthetic or non-sensitive information unless Pivlyn expressly enables and identifies an environment for real financial data. Never submit bank passwords, full payment-card numbers, private keys, government identification numbers, or another person's information without authorization. Financial-institution credentials should be entered only into an authorized Plaid Link flow.
4. Feedback and diagnostics
You may submit feedback through TestFlight or to admin@pivlyn.com. Feedback may include screenshots, comments, app and device information, and diagnostics you choose to attach. Do not include information you do not want Pivlyn to receive. You grant Pivlyn the feedback rights described in the Terms of Service.
Apple independently processes TestFlight enrollment, distribution, performance metrics, crash information, and feedback according to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
5. Confidential pre-release material
If Pivlyn identifies a beta, feature, document, or communication as confidential, do not disclose it except to a person authorized by Pivlyn. This obligation does not apply to information that becomes public without your breach, was already lawfully known to you without restriction, or is independently developed without the confidential material.
6. Security reports
Report suspected vulnerabilities to admin@pivlyn.com with the subject Security Report. Do not access another person's account or data, degrade the Services, use social engineering, or publicly disclose an unremediated vulnerability.
7. No compensation or production commitment
Unless Pivlyn agrees separately in writing, beta participation is voluntary and unpaid. Feedback does not obligate Pivlyn to implement a suggestion or release any feature. Beta access does not create an employment, agency, fiduciary, partnership, or advisory relationship.
8. Ending participation
You may stop participating by deleting the TestFlight build and leaving the test in TestFlight. Pivlyn may revoke access for any lawful reason, including misuse, security risk, or the end of testing. Account and data deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy and account-deletion process.
9. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Beta Testing Terms and does not provide Pivlyn support. Your use of TestFlight is also subject to Apple's terms. To the extent required for the Pivlyn iOS application, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Pivlyn Terms of Service.
